How we install
The installation, step by step
Single-piece, custom-cut, and done in a sealed air-conditioned bay. Here is the windscreen flow; the rest of the glass follows the same care.
1Heat-shrink the film
Our craftsman heat-shrinks the film to the concave surface of your windscreen so it sits perfectly.
2Custom marking
After shrinking, we mark the exact outline of your windscreen.
3Remove marked film
We lift the marked film and prepare to trim away the excess.
4Trim the excess
The extra film not needed at this stage is removed for a precise single-piece fit.
5Activate adhesive
We lift the liner and apply a specially mixed solution that activates the film self-adhesive.
6Clean and protect
Glass is cleaned over multiple passes with specialised tools; the interior is shielded with absorbent cloth.
7Stretch carefully
The custom-cut film is stretched smoothly across the windscreen with no large creases.
8Remove excess water
Water is pushed out from between the liner and glass for a uniform application across the surface.
9Tuck out water
Tucking out excess water lets the adhesive bind fully to the panel for maximum heat-rejection efficiency.
10Finish and check
We slowly remove the remaining water, holding the edges so the film does not shift.
11Clean and cure
A soft microfiber wipe removes any last bubbles, then the film cures over the next 48 hours.

FAQ
Questions about car solar film
No. Platinum and Platinum99 are metal-free nano-ceramic chemistries. There is no metallic content to attenuate signals. Your In-Vehicle Unit (IU) reads ERP gantries normally, CarPlay and Android Auto work as before, and GPS lock is unchanged.
The LTA requires at least 70% combined glass-plus-film VLT on the front windscreen. We install only the 70% VLT version of Platinum or Platinum99 on the windscreen and measure post-installation VLT before releasing the car.
Coverage varies by tier: Smoke 2 years, Titanium 3 years, Platinum 5 years, Platinum99 7 years. In practice — with careful aftercare — Platinum and Platinum99 hold their appearance and performance well beyond the warranty period in Singapore conditions.
Yes. Every install is measured for VLT and falls comfortably within the LTA's rules. If your vehicle fails inspection due to our film, we re-do the installation at no charge.
Most full-car installations are completed in 2–3 hours. Partial scopes (windscreen only or windscreen + two sides) are typically 1–2 hours. Add 30–60 minutes for older cars that need existing film removed first. Your car is the only car on the lift during installation.
The windscreen film stays optically clear — the LTA's 70% rule effectively requires this. Side and rear windows can go darker depending on your preference within the LTA's 25% minimum. We typically recommend a 30–40% VLT on side windows for privacy without compromising night-time visibility.
