If your film fails, we replace it.
Every Infratint install is backed by a warranty period matched to the tier, from 2 years on Smoke up to 7 years on Platinum99.
⏱️ Coverage by tier
The warranty clock starts on your installation date and covers every panel installed that day. One install, one record, indexed by your licence plate.

Coverage applies to the original vehicle owner and is not transferable if the car is sold. If panels are replaced under warranty, the replacement film carries the balance of the original warranty period.
✅ What's covered
- Bubbling that doesn't clear within the cure period
- Edge lift along seal lines or panel edges
- Silvering, the mirror flash that appears when air pockets develop
- Delamination within the film stack
- Adhesive failure causing the film to detach from the glass
- UV fade or colour shift beyond the manufacturer's published rating
- Installation defects including dust under cured film, defroster damage, misalignment
For covered defects there is no charge at all: film, labour and post-replacement quality checks are all on us.
🚫 What's not covered
- Physical damage from collision, vandalism or impact
- Glass breakage, and film damage caused by broken or replaced glass
- Chemical damage from ammonia cleaners, harsh solvents or abrasive products
- Normal wear from years of use within the film's rated lifespan
- Damage from suction-cup mounts or stickers left for extended periods on the film
- Damage from window-regulator issues unrelated to the film
- Film installed on the vehicle by another shop, or removed and reworked elsewhere
💧 Normal curing vs a defect
Freshly installed film holds a little moisture between film and glass while the adhesive cures. During this period it is normal to see slight haze or small water pockets; they evaporate through the film on their own. Give it the full cure window before judging:
- Keep windows up for 24 hours on side glass
- Allow up to 7 days for the rear screen to fully clear
Anything still visible after the cure period (bubbles, haze, lift, trapped dust) is exactly what the warranty is for. Send us photos and we'll take a look.
📝 How to claim
- WhatsApp us photos of the issue, or bring the car to our I.Biz Centre workshop.
- We look up your record by licence plate, inspect the affected panels and confirm the defect type.
- We schedule the replacement, typically within 1 to 2 weeks, sometimes same-week if urgent.
- The defective film is removed, fresh film installed, and your warranty record updated.
- No charge for covered defects, including labour, materials and post-replacement QC.
🗂️ Your warranty record
Every install is logged against your licence plate: tier, panels, installation date and warranty end date. That means a lost receipt never voids your coverage; the plate is enough for us to verify it. You can register your details so the record carries your current contact number, and check your warranty status any time using your plate.
🧼 Aftercare matters
Most warranty claims are genuine defects, but a small fraction trace back to inappropriate cleaning (ammonia-based products) or damage from suction-cup mounts. To keep the film in warranty-compliant condition:
- Clean with ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfibre cloth
- Avoid abrasive products and harsh solvents entirely
- Don't leave suction-cup devices on the film for extended periods
- Roll windows down only after the cure period (24 hours front-side, 7 days rear)
❓ Common questions
I sold the car. Does the warranty follow it?
No. Coverage is for the original owner who commissioned the install. The new owner is welcome to bring the car in; the team can inspect the existing film and advise on the options.
Do I need the receipt to claim?
No. Your licence plate is the record. Photos of the issue plus the plate are usually all the team needs to verify coverage and book the replacement.
Only one window has an issue. Do you redo the whole car?
We replace the affected panels. The replacement film matches your original tier and shade, and the rest of the install is left untouched.
What if I tinted with you years ago under the old website?
Records carry over. If your install predates this site, WhatsApp the team your plate and installation year and we'll trace it.
