Third-row glass on family vehicles (Toyota Alphard, Mercedes V-Class, Volvo XC90, BYD Sealion 8) is often steeply curved and sometimes smaller than typical side windows. The film panel cuts and heat-shrink technique differ from front-row glass.

For Singapore families, third-row tinting matters more than it sounds. The rear cabin gets significant heat through these windows, particularly during afternoon school pick-ups parked in direct sun.
