The Volkswagen ID.5 arrived, a striking coupé-roofed variant of the ID.4 electric SUV, designed for zero-emission commuting with grand-touring flair. This particular ID.5, a poster child for forward-thinking design, was fitted with our INFRATINT Platinum 99.
Under its sculpted shell, the ID.5 features an 82 kWh (gross) battery. Depending on trim, it offers a single rear-mounted motor up to 204 PS, or dual motors in the GTX variant for 299 PS to all four wheels. Even with its sloping roof, it boasts up to 520 km of WLTP range and brisk 0-100 km/h sprints in as little as 6.3 seconds (GTX). The near-silent cruising of the ID.5 makes cabin comfort and range preservation paramount.
